Scout’s Agency

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 27, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Scout’s Agency (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our platform. We collect only what we need to run the Service, and we do not sell your data.

Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email, role, and the engagement(s) you are associated with.
  • Content you provide: intake answers, pitch drafts, podcast lists, notes, and uploaded files used to generate matches and pitches.
  • Connected accounts: when you authorize Gmail (or another provider), we receive an OAuth token and basic profile information needed to send and read replies on the messages you create through the Service.
  • Usage data: standard server logs, including timestamps, request paths, and error reports, used to operate and secure the Service.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Match you with relevant podcasts and draft pitches on your behalf.
  • Send outreach emails and read replies only within the conversations you initiate through the Service.
  • Provide support, respond to requests, and communicate operational updates.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to abuse or security incidents.

Google API Services User Data

Scout’s Agency’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We use Gmail data onlyto provide the outreach features you have engaged us to perform — sending pitches, reading replies on those threads, and surfacing reply state in the app.
  • We do not use Gmail data to serve advertisements.
  • We do not transfer Gmail data to third parties except as needed to provide the Service, comply with applicable law, or with your explicit consent.
  • We do not allow humans to read Gmail data, except when you give explicit consent for specific messages, when needed for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
  • We do not use Gmail data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI/ML models.

Sharing

We share information only with infrastructure providers needed to run the Service (for example, our hosting provider, database, and email-delivery infrastructure) under contractual obligations to protect that information. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We retain account and content data for as long as your engagement with Scout’s Agency is active and for a reasonable period afterward to support reactivation, audit, and legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest, including encrypted connections and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong password and to revoke connected-account access if you suspect compromise.

Your Choices

  • You can revoke our access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
  • You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by contacting us.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
